New Guy.

Just picked up a 1994 Corolla 1.6 Carb complient

Got it dirt cheap too xD

I can get some pictures of it later, but it has no rust or rot
All the panels look perfect, except some sun damage on the roof.

Anyone got any tips on working on the car/owning it?

Anyone know where I can get an aftermarket exhaust manifold?

Mines cracked and I gotta get a new one to pass inspection.

ebay is your best place for a cheap aftermarket exhaust manifold.

stainless $64:

ceramic $55:

you may or may not need to buy a different style o2 sensor though. if yours is screw in these wont work. hope this helps.

. Welcome to the 1.6L family . I have one myself, a 97 actually.

I've got a header laying around. The header is in great shape, the down pipe, however, has a dent....& the flex pipe mesh cover is torn. If you think you want & can fix it, shoot me an offer . Also, it was painted black with VHT high temp paint. I sanded that sucker down to repaint, but I never got around to it. If you're interested, I'll give it a fresh coat of paint .

How much would you charge?

Could I just find some flex pipe with the same diameter and throw it on?
And the dent on the DP, is it an issue at all with flow?
I just need something better than stock, and mine is cracked.
Something common I heard.

Oh okay.
Thanks.

Also, how do I hook up a tachometer to this?
Mines a manual with no tach D:

I bought one and it has no info on the 1.6

I found instructions, do I hook it up to the negative side of the ignition coil, or is there a better place?

weird. how did you know i added a tach to mine? lol. just swap out your cluster for the factory cluster with the tach. its all plug and play.

hope that helps. you literally in plug the one in your car and plug in the new one. its that easy.
