1993 Corolla LE stalls, help please!

Hi guys, I am having an issue with my Corolla. The car starts up fine and idles fine when cold, but once it gets to normal operating temperature, the car stalls in gear. It can idle, sort of rough, but as soon as I rev the car it will stumble and stall. After it stalls, it may take a few tries to re-start, sometimes it won't even re-start until cooled down.

I did a paper clip on diagnostics plug and got check engine light blink code pointing to 31.
According to these forums, this means MAP sensor error. I assume short circuit/open circuit issue.

I went ahead and replaced the sensor with 3 dffferent used parts, the code still remains and the car still suffers from the symptoms. Do I need to reset the code? What can the issue be?

I have already replaced the distributor cap and rotor, new plug wires and spark plugs.
Fluid levels are all normal.

Replaced the ignition coil (was part of the distributor) and it fixed my problem. I still have the error code for MAP sensor, but the car runs fine now.
