Need an opionion on auto transmission

I am a professional mechanic in Ohio. I have a customer that came to me for a consultation. I pulled her codes, P0750 shift solenoid. Drove it around, intermittent 1st gear sluggishness, made an appointment to change the solenoid out. She called me later that day and said it wouldn't move. I drove to her to check it out. Reverse works, when its in drive(D,2,and1) it wont move and makes a loud and horrible screech. I say its time for a new transmission, would anyone like to confirm or deny that?

I would say yeah, if its the original one, and has had little to no service its cooked and she needs a new one.

I don't see what else the problem would be. Would probably be best to redo the tranny, yes.

Thanks guys, sometimes I like to get a second opinion before I tell someone they need a major repair. I thought someone might know something I did not.
I appreciate your input.
