If you installed correctly, and depending on the manufacturer of the catback, then it is usually normal for smoke and or weird smells to come out as the heat in the muffler is burning off the welders grease that was used in making and welding the parts together. Make sure that the welds are all good.

The smoke should clear in a few days-->week and the sound should mellow out in a month

It will change, sometimes a lot, sometimes a little.
I know an exhaust I did on a mustang changed drastically, it went from just a bit louder than stock, to holycrapitslouderthananythingintheneighborhood.

It might get a little deeper and a bit louder, nothing to worry about.

honestly if i wasnt messing around with my friends while installing the catback i would say 30 min - 1 hour. not too long.
only thing was a b*** was putting the hinges back on that rubber holder at the muffler tip.

TIP - USE A LIFTER IF U HAVE ONE, or RAMPS ( jacks just make it a pain )
WD-40 IS YOUR FRIEND lmao.

GOODLUCK :]

Yea I'm stuck with a jack and two jack stands

It's either that or pay some mechanic to do it for 50.

May I ask the size rachet/wrench sizes you used? Gonna have to pick up some wrenches and wd-40.

Don't pay someone to do It. Do it on your own.
I used 14mm and 13mm
And a lot of elbow grease.
Good luck

That's probably what's burning off and causing the smoke.
