denso is original ?

I recently bought a 96 corolla low mileage 117000 kms, and see it has a denso distributer(made in japan)...
is that what toyota puts in from the factory or it was changed by previous owner ?

Denso is typically OEM for these cars and many other Japanese vehicles depending on where it was made, and it is stock. Some may also use ACDelco parts (notably the 80amp alternator in the cold weather package like mine has).

EDIT: And on that note when doing plugs, make sure you go to Denso or NGK; there are numerous stories of these cars not playing nice with Bosch in particular.
