95 three speed trans axle.

Can anyone tell me if the c/v axles are the same or different for the three speed vs the 4 speed transmissions. I bought a 95 corolla 1.6 three speed trans. I had to replace the trans and when installing the drivers side axle is seemed to be too short. This was a new axle replaced by the previous owner who said the trans went out after this axle was replaced. The axle is from Oreilly's and was new, not re-manufactured. The part # is TO-8018. Is the length different on a 3 vs 4 speed axle?

A quick answer would be greatly appreciated as my car is on jack stands right now.

Yes, they are the same size. The same axle will fit both the three speed and the four speed transmissions.
