Australia OEM sound/stereo systems

Hello guys

I was wondering if someone could provide me with some detailed information regarding the OEM stereo systems in the 7th Gen Corolla.

My car came with the tape/cassette four speaker system but I was hoping if information was available describing the more complex systems such as the six speaker systems and also the systems that came with upgraded rear speakers with deeper bass.

I have recently replaced my rear speakers and its got me thinking

I have seen some pictures in the original sales brochures but can't find any detailed information.

Thanks

Its easy, all you need to do is:

1- Get money
2- Get the same size of the OEM speaker and buy some SONY/PIONEER/blaupunkt/JBL/etc speakers of high QA/watts
3-You wanna get bass? Buy a subwoofer+amplifier audio.
4-tweeters if wanted

Why do you wanna get 6 speakers? Where are you going to put the 2 extra speakers when the car is only capable of hadling 4 speakers? (2 at the front, 2 at the back)

Why dont you just buy 4 GOOD speakers? I think is easier and cheaper

I would personally buy a pair of 120-110 watts PIONEER for the front and a pair of 350 watts PIONEER for the back. Plus an ampliefier and a PIONEER subwoofer. Of course a good radio.

With that, you will save money, SPACE, plug and play, and you will not make holes where you are not suppose to. -.-

And I Bet it will sound great.

You can fit 4 at the back, as in the trunk there are holes for 4, or if you have the air freshener. But yeah that's what my brother did to the car before I got it. I do have Pioneer's as well, the car had Sony's in there for the longest time and eventually they went, but the Pioneer's were cheaper and just as good as replacements. 2x 150W in the front, 4x 450W in the back, 500W Amp, and a 1200W 10" Sony Sub.

Thanks

mmmmm yummy I'm loving this info nice.

I am thinking of making a system that sounds nice but from the outside it looks fairly normal/restrained. I want a system that provides an 'all-round' decent sound, I know this guy who listens to DUBstep through a massive subwoofer in his 6th gen rolla but that's not really me. Recently I was given the opportunity to drive in a new base model Mazda 3 (petrol) and I noticed the Bose system in that car sounded very cool.

So I didn't want to pile up my boot/trunk with speakers. I used a speaker called MTX thunder thx603 for the two rare speaker replacements - here's a link to ebay containing pictures and information http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/270764051944 It's nice.

By the way whats a tweeter? I have seen some pictures but just wondering if any 7th gens came with the item installed.

I can't believe how bad the condition was of the old speakers when I took a look at them!

I like YOGI.CR comments and setup, also MirrorEyes comments towards extra speakers in the back is cool as well.

I might put a small sub-woofer in the boot.
