Canada 95 Corolla not jump started properly

Well you guys have heard this one I am sure, your son phones you and says he just hooked-up the booster cables wrong and now the car wont even turn-over. Read a little on line about NO ENGINE light on, does this mean a fuse is gone and if so where is it located?? Or did he blow the ECM? Kind of at a loss, but the lights work, horn, but no cranking of the starter at all. Thanks Gents

Ya he most likely blew the fuseable link... It is a 70-100amp fuse designed with this error in mind. They usually bolt into or under the fuse/relay box under the hood... Not cheap either...

Thanks alot guys, got a new 100 amp fuse from dealer and had to take apart fuse box just how I read on your site. Got new fuse all tightened up and just like in the comics.....Vrooooom and away she went. I am new to forums and all but am quickly becoming a fan of them. Great to share knowledge and save some BIG mechanic $$$$$ as we all can do on these forums.

I think w/ tax , it was $14.00 at the Toyota dealership. Took about 15 mins. to R & R and good to go.
