Not burning or leaking oil?

I have 255k miles and haven't lost any oil since my last oil change.
Kinda surprises me and a few of my friends that they lose oil in an engine with 100k miles and I don't xD

From June to last week I had burned about 1/3 of my oil. I am burning, but it's not too bad. My car wasn't taken care of as far as maintenance for a while before my parents gave it to me, so that's probably the issue.

From the looks of it, mine was taken care of, no rust no rot, 255k miles and runs mint.

With my last car it burnt oil all the time and I'd have to check it weekly or else I lost oil pressure.

Nice to hear your Corolla is in good condition then :P Mine had a bit of rust over the rear fenders and on the rock guards. Took care of that this summer though, rust free now :P

This is my first car, and hopefully the small amount of oil it burns won't escalate, I like my Corolla.

I was extremely surprised to find no rust on the car at all...the exhaust was rusty but no big deal, I replaced it.
And 255k miles driven by an 18 yr old the way I drive it and the engine is mint.

I changed my oil yesterday after 4200 mi at 179438 and had only burned 1/8 of the 4 quarts of oil that was in it. My brother's pos 99 mazda protege burned like 1/2 of it's oil off in 4000 mi. Needless to say I'm going to rub it in his face the next time I see him. I love toyota.
