centre trim clips?

hi everyone, what's the trick to dis-engaging the clips on the centre panel? im trying with a screw driver but no luck

i am even having trouble putting the knobs back in
i notice there is two types of knobs with different holes in the back? i mixed them up when i took them out and having trouble getting 2 to click back in.

thanks in advance

edit: got the knobs sorted out, just need to know how to disengage those clips!

Grab the rib at the bottom and just pull along with some prying along the edges. It's just really grab tight and pull

I'd also suggest using a small jeweler's screw driver if you have it. I find bigger drivers are too big to get in and disengage the clips.

I usually just put a hand on the ridge of each air vent and pull down and out. Works every time. You may need a second person to help if your hands aren't strong enough though, as they can be very tricky if they've never been removed before.

The trick with putting the HVAC knobs back on is to notice that they all slant downwards...then all you have to do is put the ones with the white stripe on the bottom on the top row, and vice versa
