Oil cooler?

Is there an oil cooler in a/t equipped Corollas? I am not talking about transmission fluid cooler.

I noticed that one of the two small diameter hoses that go into the bottom of the radiator seems to be moist. It is not a one part hose.Composed of 2 parts, it seems.Where these two parts meet very close to where it connects to radiator I see this moistness. When I clean it with paper towel it leaves an oil colored mark on it.Greenish amber. What could be the reason? It is not atf color which is close to red when I check.

Also, not sure if it is related, I noticed it started losing more oil faster.I used to lose a quart every 10,000 miles till very recently. Now the level goes down way faster.

The thermostat may need to be replaced since the temperature gauge needle never reaches half point on the gauge. Most of the time it is on quarter level. It takes long to get to that level also.

It's a tranny fluid cooler. my car has it too.
i know that some of the european corollas have an engine oil cooler, but i'm pretty sure it's mounted in front of the radiator on the passenger side. i might be wrong about the exact placement though.

Australian ones have the engine oil cooler as well, can't remember which side it is on though, but I think it's the passengers (ie the left side if you're sitting inside looking forwards), and is in front of the radiator and condenser.
