'97 carib ae111 springs/struts

Hi,

I hope I'm in the right part of the forum here! I have a lowered '97 carib (ae111) and i'm attempting to delower it cos it scrapes at the back when it's got weight in it. I've seen some standard second hand spring/strut assemblies from an ae115 carib. does anyone know if they're likely to be compatible?

thankyou

Welcome to Toyota Nation! Yep, the AE115 Carib shares the same springs/struts as the AE111 Carib. A quick way to fix the scraping however is to get the rear guards rolled. This would be cheaper than replacing the springs/struts and will allow you to keep the 'low profile' look that you get with the current lowering springs
