LOL! This is my passenger side control arm. There's been a rattling sound around my passengers' feet for the last few weeks, ya think this might be the culprit?
I already test drove it, and yep, that was the cause.
Put in two new arms and ball joints, both from Moog, total cost was about $90 per side.
Passenger side was really easy to change.
I had read that you have to drop the whole cross member to replace the driver's side control arm if you have an auto transmission, but I couldn't find anything to explain why. Well, here's why - the front bolt on the control arm won't clear the transmission, so you have to drop it down to get the arm off. Makes it a lot bigger job than just the p side.
