Straight piped

Sounds pretty raspy.

Not sure if I wanna throw a muffler back on or not.

I'll probably just order a new one, I didn't like the fart can much, and got crap for it at school, so either a twin loop or something else is gonna be placed on once I get the money.
Sounds a bit better since I put some piping on the end to get it out of the bumper area.

I lol'd when you gave up at trying to set the phone up. But yeah, definitely get a muffler on there, and I was going to suggest a twin loop before you mentioned it. A friend of mine has straight pipes with a twin loop on his Camry, sounds orgasmic.

Is that a chainsaw revving up in the back ground?

Seriously, put a resonator back in and a glass pack. You're not restricting flow in any meaningful amount by doing those and it will sound a lot better.

You could do what I did. I hate the weak, diseased sound of a standard muffler, so I find it impossible to NOT change to a more interesting sound. I installed a so-called "sport muffler"....but, I used a 5" diameter one, instead of the usual 3" diameter that most choose (for this sort of engine size). The result is a deeper, richer sound than the ear-splitting tones of the 3" ones, especially at high revs. The 5" unit has a good deal larger volume than the 3" size, but does not reduce any performance gain. I left the silencer cone IN, which helps keep the car a bit more civilized, when driving sedately.

It has a resonator, or a glass pack, its shaped like a glass pack but could be just a resonator.

I'm surprised how quiet mine is at idle and stuff with this setup, tomorrow I might throw the fart can back on it depending on if I have time and stuff.

Just trying to have fun with the car this month incase I lose my license next month, got pulled over with misuse of power in the Rolla, did a nice burnout in front of a cop lol

The resonator in these cars should look like another muffler, and is located at about the mid point of the chassis. I think these are either 12" or 14" long. I can't recall anymore. A glasspack is a long tube with a bulge running it's length for the fiber glass packing (which is actually no longer fiber glass, being more akin to steel wool now and other composites). My glasspack was 18" IIRC with the factory muffler. It didn't sound anything like that, though it did have an annoying over tone when reverberating off another vehicle or barrier, so I was going to put a longer resonator in to help compensate, but alas I sold it.

I have a full custom exhaust header back and there is what looks like a glass pack there, and I may go get a resonating tip for it, and see if it makes a difference. I was gonna get one last night but they didn't have any good looking ones.

You sure it's just not one of those cheap things that replaces your flex pipe on those header packages? If it's right after your header and before the cat and less than like 16" it is not a glass pack. A resonating tip is not going to make a huge difference.

...I'm not an idiot, I know what flex pipe is..lol

Its deffinately a glass pack or something along those lines, its shaped like a glass pack but I don't know if its filled like a glass pack, with the steel wool crap or if it is some how a resonator.
