Air Filter Removal

Can I safely remove the 2 bolts that hold the bottom part of the air filter box down so I can take it out?

Make sure not to short the battery out, those bolts are grounded and if you touch the battery it will spark....trust me...

Thanks for the tip. Thats what I was wondering about. The bolts look a little heavy duty for just the air filter. What else are those bolts holding? and if it is just to bolt the air filter in, why are the bolts so heavy duty?

those bolts arent a ground to anything. he means dont swing the ratchet around and hit the positive terminal of the battery cause youll get zapped because those bolts can provide a ground. your okay to just remove them.
