advice on lowering struts

So currently my corolla is lowered on megan racing springs which give a pretty nice 2" drop. I was looking for a more aggressive set up when i found the ground control kit, which is eibach springs paired with an adjustable sleeve which would give me another 0.5" drop. My question is are there adjustable struts to give me an additional 0.5" or more? If not, what struts are good for slammed cars?

Koni Yellow Strut inserts would be a perfect match for Ground Controls.

I agree with Phat. my cousin has a ek 99 civic with the ground control coilovers and the only strut that worked perfectly with them were the koni yellows. Expensive but worth every penny.

haha wow after looking into those, i guess they really are the best when paired with the ground control kit atleast. unfortunately for the same price (including koni yellows and the gc kit) i could buy real coilovers and probably go a lot lower than this setup would allow. is there any alternative to the koni yellows?

Koni yellows REQUIRE either the stock original Toyota rear shocks or some magical aftermarket part that nobody's found yet. They're an insert and almost all replacement shocks have a different diameter than they're designed for. Just FYI. A member going by "jfgarro" was able to get them to work on his car using some AE92 parts, worth searching for.

Koni Yellows are as good as it gets in terms of struts.

If you're on a budget, you can spend around $1000 on K-Sport, D2, or BC Racing coilovers.

Anything more and you're looking at spending $1500+ on Tein, Cusco, JIC coilovers.

Personal preference really.

yeah i realize this. was trying to find some sort of alternative in the middle of springs and coilovers when i found this sleeve kit; however, i dont know if i want to spend $400 just to go down another 0.5". id rather buy coilovers and go all the way down.
