Service Manual PDF

Does anyone have the OEM service manual in English? Not the Haynes manual. I rather have the specifications from Toyota.

I wanted to adjust the intake & exhaust valves while I change the timing belt and water pump @ 160K miles.

Thanks
Stephen

From my owner's manual, and the sticker under the bonnet:
1.6l 4AFE engine cold:
Intake 0.2mm +/-0.05mm
Exhaust 0.3mm +/-0.05mm

Edit:
I checked mine at 180k miles and they were still within spec, on the tighter end. Intake somewhere between 0.15 and 0.2mm and exhaust 0.25-0.3mm. Adjustment is carried out by replacing shims on the lifters, so you need to check the clearances first and then potentially purchase appropriate shims.

I believe so. Manual for another model (Carina E) which came with both 4AFE and 7AFE lists the same valve clearance specs for both engines.

i am thinking of selling my old inefficient corolla for 2k-2500 for a decent no less than 5 yrs old Prius. I had a 2005 Prius with a decent package but my Mom took ownership of it. I would like to go back to the prius. I felt like that car drove for free. I didnt really feel the gas refills as much as i do with the 7th gen. craigslist has a whole bunch of them for them for sale. IDK I am tempted to tip into my savings and buy a prius. ;-p

Do some research regarding costs involved in replacing the battery pack on the Prius. Which you may end up doing, depending on mileage and age. Heard some horror stories about it costing an arm and a leg. If true this may very well offset any savings that you hope to make on fuel. Not sure when exactly the battery pack was due but I have a vague memory of 60k miles or so.
Do some math and figure it out. What kind of driving do you do etc.
I avaraged 35mpg on a 2800miles trip this spring in my 7th gen, so it is not that inefficient. It very much depends on how and where you drive.
