Question rpm in relation to mph

94', 1.6L, a/t, no tach. i would really like to know the engine rpm at 70mph. is there a chart somewhere? i searched, but to no avail.

I think its about 3k or so unless I'm revving high.

I can get the exact number this afternoon on my way to work.
I usually cruise the highway at 80-90 lol

Anything above 60 and mine gets unbearably loud from road + wind noise. Alas the old corolla has been relegated to in town driving.

Being 18 with limited funds, I am forced to use my Corolla to get to work and school using the highway.
Some mornings reaching 95ish, or more if I get passed...
It is a bit noisey, but nothing compared to my Cougar.

The 3 speed auto with the 4A-FE is the A131L, which has a 3rd gear ratio of 1:1. So, based on some rough calculations, at 70 mph you'd be sitting close to 4000 rpm.
