4A-FE cold air intake

I wanna put a cold air intake on my 94 corolla with a 4A-FE.
I was wondering if I would be better off running the intake to the wheel well, in front of the radiator or somewhere else.

What have you guys noticed for the most HP or MPG gains?

Most of the guys on here happen to run their CAI's into the wheel well, which is also what I did when I did a mock up of mine before the winter.

Two guys who frequent here have DIY's for their CAI's:

Kiwi Corolla's

Gold94Corolla's

I personally did the second one as it didn't require using a rotary tool.

MPG/HP gain will be very minimal, but the cold air will indeed help your car out.

The best place to route the piping to would be the wheel well. If you put it in front of the radiator it will cause the heat from the radiator to be absorbed by the filter when the fan kicks in, and the air-flow in that area isn't as good as the wheel well. You won't notice a huge difference in power but every little bit counts
