Dome Light Stumper

Hi All! I am new to the forum but I am hoping to pick the brains of a technical guru. I cannot get my dome light to work! I put in a light that wasn't right and it worked. However, I had a short in my radio and have since replaced the radio. When I had the short the dome light stopped working. I have checked my fuses under the hood and on the driver side kick panel. All fuses are good. I have also checked each of the door switches to ensure that they are properly grounded and activating the door ajar light on the dash. I have since purchased the proper bulb. However, i cannot seem to get the dome light to work in either the On or Door positions. I would like to trace the wiring to check for issues, but I don't know where to begin as my Chiltons does not seem to have a good wiring diagram. Any help is appreciated!!

If there is voltage at the light it should work in the "on" position. If not you're missing the ground. Same with the door switches- No grounding, no light.

I have voltage at the switch. I am trying to trouble shoot the ground but I read it is actually where the light is screwed in? I have also checked each of the door jam switches to ensure they are activating the door ajar indicator on the dash. Problem is that I get no light with the switch in the on position.

Is there another ground? I am working as though the body is the ground when it is mounted.
