These?
Or just some regular black housing headlights.

I like the halo projector style, except they look ricey and cheap

You wanna drop $140 on these? C'mon man, we're driving 15 year old + cars, not Audis. I mean they look nice and all, but imagine our cars with them....lol. But hey, if you like it, to each his own. Merry Christmas lol.

Just wanted to be talked away from them
I like them on some cars, but I'd guarantee on my car I'd hate them.

Probably just getting someblack housing ones for like 80$

If you want a real light output upgrade keep the stock headlights just get some 9011/9012 HIR bulbs.

http://hirheadlights.com/

If you're on a budget, just modify a 9005 halogen bulb to fit into the 9006 sockets. There is a DIY floating around here somewhere.

All aftermarket headlights are prone to leaking/problems over the long haul.

They'd look a lot better with the strip reflectors painted flat/gloss black so that horrid strip wouldn't be so uselessly ostentatious and you'd still have the LEDs for evening effect.

YMMV with the ricey and garish, though.

For comparision's sake, the H4 enclosures...

...and stock versus the Euro-style separate-housings.

HIRs aren't bad, but a 9005 will do the job for less than half the price and won't be a glare issue either. My headlight/bulb writeups are over on Speedy's thread.

i second that yodadex. ive been meaning to buy those but im too lazy to make the harness to convert the bulbs to an h4 and wire up the drl's. also, i heard aiming them properly sucks. but, i still like the way they look. theyll go nicely with my jdm bumper cover =)
