Beck Arnley OE Antifreeze
For those that don't want to pay dealer prices (unless you can somehow get employee pricing), Beck Arnley is now bottling OE antifreeze. Just go to autoshepherd.com and search for 252-1002U (red concentrate) or 252-1502U (pink). The only gripe is that the website sells the coolant by the case (minimum of 6 or more) and Beck Arnley only refers to the OE product number to show equivalency and no MSDS. I think the blue coolant (252-1501U) is lower priced than the pink and may be a good alternative to the pink since both are diluted, contain no silicates, and contain HOAT (blue has a bittering agent). In all, I think most Japanese auto manufacturers bottle the same coolant and differentiate them by their own colors and branding (Toyota for pink, Honda and Nissan for blue, Mazda and Subaru for green).
Judging by the low amount of silicates in Zerex G-05 (according to Ashland), has anyone experienced sludging, heavy deposition, or related problems with said antifreeze?
