Bottoming out...

How much weight has to be in the back seat before the car will bottom out on good springs, my girlfriends err....rater large friend and her boy friend were in the back seat and the car was almost resting on the ground.

Not sure if my springs are cooked, or what.

Payload limit is listed in your owners manual.

The culprit could be spring fatigue or it could be blown struts or both.

Spring fatigue is probably the best bet. These cars are old.

I know my springs in my back suck, and whenever the car has atleast 4 people, I bottom out over speed bumps and stuff. But I don't rub or anything, but it does rest low.

Bought some Megan springs, hopefully stiffer, definitely lower xD

Struts are dry on the outside as far as I can see, I check them whenever I bring the car into work.

Just get 'em
150$ is pretty nice for some good springs, hopefully in the spring I can get some better struts.
