Need a little help figuring out the muffler hangers, if you could...

When I took my exhaust system out I just cut through the hangers because I don't like messing with them. Now we went to install my system back on tonight but had to hang it with wiring again because we couldn't figure it out... I was like wait, am I missing a part? Can anyone tell me what's going on here? If I had a car to look at for reference that would really be all I need.

Never mind. They go in exactly how they look like they're supposed to go in. But uhh, yeah, maybe it's gonna be muffler shop time with these hangers.

Just cut the tubes out and run bolts through there.

Brilliant! I'll saw them off and stick bolts through. Nice LOL, I can get that done tomorrow.

Actually keep the tubes once you cut them out, slip them into the new hangers then put them up and the bolts through. it'll help keep the bolts from rubbing the rubber. I suggest using stainless bolts.
