Thumbs down Car scraping on ground

Recently my car has been scraping the ground a lot. Houston's roads are really bumpy, so whenever I cross an intersection or go over a manhole the car has a tendency to scrape. I went under and had a look today and it seems like the transmission pan is the lowest point.

This all started happening a few weeks ago after someone hit my car on the front fender and from what I conclude bent the subframe slightly. Coupled with old struts and basically any slight bump causes scraping.

Has this happened to anyone else before? I plan on changing the struts and springs as soon as feasible.

EDIT: I'm going out later to measure the height between ground and pan. Apparently 6'' is standard? Or so I've read. Will report back.

EDIT 2: 5-6'' between transmission pan and level ground. It's dark out so I didn't get an accurate read. Seems within spec. I'm becoming increasingly convinced that it's just my struts that have finally gone.

The springs hold your car up. How much clearance do you get between the top of each tire and the fender?

I replaced my 2 rear springs/shocks to fix scraping if I had 2 or more people in the back of my car.

Check your struts to see if they are wet. Push on your rear fenders and see if you hear a noise coming from the shocks. If so, it's probably the struts. If you hear no noise, but it is bouncy/noticeably sitting low, then it is probably your springs.

I scrape if my girlfriends overweight friend is in the back seat, I'd suggest new springs they're probably worn out and sagging.

And while your at it, get new struts if you know those are old too,

Pay attention to this part (t cross) for any bent and missing bolts . check your mounts front and back for missing bolts. If somthing wrong, probably you can fix it yourself with combination of floor and bottle jacks and few stands(assume your mounts are ok) . Then consider your shocks and struts which as you mentioned they are old and it is good to be replaced .
I drove my car for 5 years after my mechanic warrned me about struts(stupied I know). I never had "scraping on ground" problem.

you sure your exhaust hasn't fallen down and is scraping? Plastic under panel loose and flopping around in the wind?
