Is This Bosch Oxygen Sensor For The Front Or Rear In My 95 Corolla?

The part number is 12201 from Bosch. You can look it up. I want to know if this o2 sensor is the front or the rear (or both) o2 sensors for a 95 corolla base AT. I am about to replace my front o2 sensor with this part.

Also I have another question - After how long after spraying the PB Blaster on to the screws of the front O2 sensor is the car safe to drive? Do I have to clean the engine before I turn on the engine? Some of the spray did land on the surrounding parts of the o2 sensor. Will it dry up itself?

Thanks

I don't think the 95 had a rear o2 sensor, I could be wrong, but my 94 doesn't and it wasn't required til 96

Well, the 97 DX definitively has a rear O2 sensor, thank god! because it was the only thing keeping my exhaust from completely digging into the road. My exhaust Header pipe (stock) broke at the cat converter and my exhaust was hanging by the rear hangers and rear o2 sensor...

So I may want to replace the sensor, not sure yet. I imagine there was a lot of tension on the wire harness from the exhaust tugging the sensor wires.

Bosch 12102 is the upstream California O2 sensor. $32 from RockAuto.com
Bosch 12201 is the upstream 49 state O2 sensor. $34 from RockAuto.com

The non-California cars got downstream O2 sensors starting in 1996. California cars had downstream O2 sensors prior to 1996 (off-hand, I don't know when this started).

I would strongly recommend you stick with the OE manufacturer: Denso.
Denso 2341053 is the upstream California O2 sensor. $28 from RockAuto.com
Denso 2342052 is the upstream 49 state O2 sensor $42 from RockAuto.com

I don't live in California, but I believe it is illegal to install non-California approved emissions equipment on a car registered in California. Just an FYI.

To answer your second question, I see no reason to attempt to clean the excess PB Blaster off anything before you drive. Can't see it harming anything or causing a fire hazard.
