Thermal Vacuum Valve

I was changing the starter on my 93 1.8l and as you can guess I broke the 2 tips off of the Thermal Vacuum Valve. I can't find a replacement anywhere. It is also called a Ported Vacuum Switch. Any clue as to where I could get a new one? I really don't want one from a salvage yard.
Thanks

Next question, I actually found a new replacement at Oreilly and it is an exact match. When I installed it however, it drips I tried teflon tape but I must have used too much. I try less tomorrow and see if that works, any other suggestions? Any assistance will be appreciated.

2-3 turns is all you need. If its dripping give it another turn. I'm expecting you put the tape on in the thread direction, and not against it.
