i got a 97 levin from a friend of mine, without engine, ecu and harness. the electrician clipped the plugs for the dashboard harness too. i would love to rewire the car myself.
DOES ANYBODY HAVE THE WIRE HARNESS CHART, SCHEMATIC, ANYTHING FOR THE DASHBOARD HARNESS CONNECTORS
OH, the wire harness i have too is different so i need help with that too. the wire harness has 2 connectors for the ECU and 2 connectors for the dash harness
I got the 97 Levin BZ-G crashed, without engine ecu and harness from a friend. the 4a-fe motor i have, came out of a 93 Corona i owned but had endless suspension problems. the wire harness i have, was given to me by a friend, it came out of a 93 corolla.
You know what!!!??? Am jus gonna go to the junk yard and buy a harness and try to get the dashboard connectors at the same time.
Only problem is, i have a BT 20valve fuse box. might as well buy a corolla fuse box too.
And stop playing cheap. then the work would be straight forward!!!
Yeah definitely do things right by getting the correct engine and interior looms from the junkyard. If you put a 4A-FE in a Levin BZ-G it would be an absolute crime . The factory 4A-GE 20v Blacktop deserves to be enjoyed! .. Good luck!

This BZ-G i own, came from factory with a 4A-FE. so its not a crime am committing. I wanted to try the 20valve turbocharged but i cant afford that right now. gotta invest in a family car.

The BZ-G came with a 4A-GE 20-valve Blacktop engine. They never came with the 4A-FE. Only the XZ and FZ models had the 4A-FE engine, so yours mustn't be a BZ-G

i would recommend getting a dash from the junkyard. it might be a plug in from that point with your BT swap. only pinout's i've seen was all in japaneese.

I am planning on getting the dashboard harness along with the engine harness but i jus would like the pinouts available not only for my knowledge but for others because there is none online.
THANKS... should be helpful to alot of people. The 4afe is not online either. I understood that the 5afe ECU pinout is available if you open the ecu itself. the 4afe ECU too but the dashboard wire harness is something i think people would love to have for a DIY engine swap
just a quick question. that picure above isnt as much help as i thought it would have been.
can anybody put their hands on the PINOUT and/or SCHEMATICS of the dashboard harness??
I NEED IT URGENTLY!!!!!!!! I got an ecu and engine harness but the dashborad harness connectors are still missing so i have a bunch of clipped wires under the dash.
What i do have is power to the headlights, roof lights, power windows, power mirrors, brake lights, horn, hazard and a couple of instrument panel lights.
I wanna start the engine and get the other electrical components going. Central lock, clock, radio
I have two instrument cluster wiring diagrams including the pinouts that I can send to you, except they're for the 4A-FE Corolla. The Levin uses a different instrument cluster. PM me your email address and I'll send through both high resolution copies.
