94 Corolla 1.6 Head Gasket Replace Q.

New owner of a 94 corolla dx 1.6 5speed w/270k miles. Owned it for 3 months. It is now time for a head gasket. Started mixing with oil in the coolant system. undetectable leak coming from the transmission side which the transmission is now soaked with coolant. Recently replaced the oil and no signs of water mixture. Does not overheat.

I will be replacing the:

Head gasket
Timing belt
Water pump
thermostat

Is replacing head studs recommended since i believe they are torque to yield bolts?

Also is their a DIY head gasket thread. Im having a hard time finding one. Thanks

Before i jump to the head gasket being a problem.

It doesnt feel like its loosing power. Doesnt smoke. Doesnt overheat Idles and runs fine

Oil has no signs of contamination with water. Coolant tank has oil residue so does the radiator but no gunk. Transmission is soaked in coolant looks like its comming from side of head under thermostat housing. Does need to fill coolant tank every other day.

Some people say you can re-use TTY studs, but I wouldn't

Better safe than sorry.

Not sure where it could be leaking, could be a seal on the end or something.

Yes you should replace head bolts. Since they are stretch bolts, ment for one time use. Unless you buy ARP studs.
