Anyone slept in their corolla before??

haha, no I'm not going to become homeless. But I might drive till about 1 or 2 am, sleep in a rest area to daybreak, then get back on the road.

Anyone, slept in their corolla before? Anything besides a blanket, pillow, and recline the seat to better rest.

I have because I decided I'd rather keep the $50 a motel would cost.

I'm tall and dont fit comfortably in much of anything, but its no different in the corolla from any other car.

Unless you can get comfortable in the front seat, I'd curl up in the back seat.
IMO that'd be more comfortable.

I've given it a fair amount of thought and came to the conclusion that, as a tall guy (6'6") the best way would be to fold the rear seats down, possibly remove the bench seat and use it as a body pillow (also gets the rear flatter) and sleep with my head in the passenger compartment and the rest of me in the trunk.

Assuming you've got a spare to fill the giant hole, the trunk is actually surprisingly roomy when you get in there...

I'm 5'11" and I was able to fold the back seat down and curl up on my side or lie at an angle comfortably. But the corolla I have now doesn't have the 60 40 split

I've also found you can probably recline the front seat back far enough to at least relax and take a nap... I used to fold them all the way back a lot and listen to music while waiting on someone to get out of the store or whatever.

I am 5'4" by Army standards and I have done this. I had drill a few times at oh'dark-hundred and couldn't get to sleep, so I drove the 50 miles there and tried to sleep for three hours. I couldn't get comfortable for the life of me.

Tried that too, that actually worked better, but all I could do was rest my eyes.

Then again, maybe a 98 Camry is different on space and maneuverability.
