1994 Corolla console/shifter lights

I'm assuming that the console (heater control, etc.)and automatic shifter (park, neutral, reverse, etc.) are illuminated from the factory. Since this Corolla I have is currently not illuminating in these areas, is it safe to assume a fuse has blown? I assume this with the consideration that they should actually be light up AND that both the console AND shifter position indicator both do not light up. Any pointers?

More likely a bulb. Bulbs like that tend to go out in groups.
Unless they are fused together, not sure though.

It is wired to the rest of the interior and exterior parking lights. It does not have it's own fuse. It is a 194 bulb that is probably burned out. Replace it and you should be good

Isn't there a separate bulb for the shifter? There were a couple of DIYs on here a couple years ago when everybody's more or less died at once.

Thanks. Now it's time to dig into my GF's Corolla and get it fixed so she can see what gear she's in at night.

Thanks for the link for changing he bulb. My bulb has been out for almost 5 years. I'm buying a bulb tomorrow.
