actually you had it right the first time. it's struts front and rear. not shocks. tokiko and kyb AGX are good. kyb GR2 ride decent. stay away from monroe or the other off brands. you get what you pay for. and IMHO i prefer a little stiffer strut compared to soft ones especially if you plan to lower the car a little. softer struts will make the ride seem bouncy.

Honestly, my IS300 is "rock hard" but I love it. WIth the KYB GR2s and Tein S-techs I had in the Corolla, it wasn't rock hard or uncomfortable, but rather it felt well grounded and ready to roll. Plus, it looked the best IMO. I highly recommend that setup always! Of course, the blue shocks are also good.
i had H&R springs on GR2's and i enjoyed the ride. i have the H&R's now on a set of blues and i will probably install them shortly. i'm sure it will be a little firmer but still tolerable. this will only be temporary to pass inspection then it'll be Cusco zero 2.

i have your arm rest in my back seat. it was made to the door panel but i ripped that shit out anyway. you can easily reattach it with small sheet metal screws and some washers. youll know what im talking about when you see it.
i can go get it and send you pictures if youd like. i need to clean it anyway.

hows the ride with that setup, is it stiffer than stock. when my struts go i want upgrade but i dont want to make my ride rock hard
its quite stiffer than stock but still has a very nice ride quality. there's no bouncing after bumps and dips in the road and im not low enough to have to roll my fenders but im noticeably lower. like i said before, I LOVE THEM.

Looks good to me...
The guy from EBAY finally got back to me and they're willing to accept the part back and give me a refund... So I'd definitely like to get that from you if I can...
I guess I'll PM you to find out how much and how to send you the money

Are you sure? Granted I want to change the necessar parts anyway, but a friend of mine said it didn't "sound" like I needed new struts. So, how do I know if they're bad or how bad they are.
I was saying I needed new struts because the ride in my car is not smooth at all. I feel every bump in the street and going over actual speed bumps suck. Maybe it's my springs that need changing? It's basically a little TOO bouncy I guess..
But again, I plan to change all of that stuff anyway, I was just trying to do it in a "what's most necessary, right now" type of order. I guess I'm a little clueless
