Ok. Based upon all the feedback I received from the forums I posted this (mostly scionlife) this is what I can conclude.
Cutting the panel is OK if it means getting a higher displacement driver with everyone who has responded.
The Stealthbox should go on the passenger side.
There is a split as far as the driver that should be loaded. About half feel the W3v3 would offer all the performance they need for the price. The rest said that they would pony up the extra cash to squeeze all the performance they can get out of the area the W6v2.
Interestingly, many people who said W6v2 already have systems in their cars and would probably not buy the Stealthbox anyway.
I personally think that the W3v3 is the ticket from a performance/price point. I have a W3v3 in my car now and it kicks ass. If it were my decision, I would go with the W6v2, but I am not paying either way so I am not a good example.
So one simple and final question:
W3v3 or would you spend the extra $150 to extract the extra performance the W6v2 would offer? Your input is appreciated, we start work this week.
