Re: A BMW in my future?
Scott I ran my '71 Pinto in a hill climb race in the Poconos and beat all of
the BMW 2002 for the best time. The owner of the BMW that held the record
for several years was jumping up and down hollering 'It a Pinto I can't
believe I was beaten by a damn Pinto' My record for 2000 CC sedans still
stands. When it comes to racing many times it is the guy with the most
balls, not the most car that wins. The only driver I even met with more
balls than me was when I raced with Mario on the old Nazareth dirt track
We always said Mario always finished in one of three position. Blown
engine/tranny, smashed, or WINNER. LOL
