1999 Hvac Bulb

Hello,

My bulb just burned out in the climate control area. I tried removing the hvac but when I take out the screws for it, I can only pull it out so far and it goes tight. I was just wondering if anyone knew how to change a bulb on a 99, the location of the bulb(s), and what size the bulb is? Thanks!

Take out as much as you can to clear as much room as you can. Reach back and feel for two bulb holders, one on left and one on right. Bulb wires are usually green with different color of stripes if it's any help. Turn and pull out. Once out, they are just #74 bulbs as used in many other spots in the car like the dashboard.

I tried #74 and #73 and neither would fit. They look a tad bit different. Does anybody know the number? The dash bulbs were 194 and they are way to big. #73/74 were too big also

your best bet would be to just go to the Parts counter at your local Toyota dealer and ask.
