brake failure on a 98 corolla

today i was driving back to my house from school i tried stoping at a stop sign all of a sudden my brake pedal hits the floor and my brake light came on so i stopped at a gas station and got some brake fluid so i poured some and pumped my brake all the fluid was all gone and my light is still on so i called my dad he says it could be the brake lines that is leaking but i dont see any please help.

the fluid is going somewhere, so you have a leak. need to find where and fix it.

probably popped the brake slave cylinder seals.. just buy a new one and a large bottle of brake fluid...

bleed all the air out,,, get a bleed kit.... if the rear brakes are more than 50% worn replace them... ... pretty easy job... get all the nasty brake dust out, if drum brakes..

You're also supposed to change the shoes while you're in there, FYI. They get contaminated if brake fluid hits them. Not that I've ever actually done that...

Yep, the steel and rubber pieces both are available at a parts store if you bring it to them and show them what you need.
