2002 Corolla Audio Fuse Location

I blew the Audio system fuse (I think) this morning when I plugged in an inverter and turned it on. I haven't checked all of the fuses yet, but I've found 3 boxes under the hood. Two are adjacent to the battery, and the 3rd is on the front passenger side of the engine compatment. I did a quick check of the owner's manual and a little more detailed look at the Haynes manual, but neither seems to show the location of specific fuses/relays.

Can anyone help?

Brent

yeah I had the same problem. The dome light is the same fuse. Open the little compartment to the left of the steering wheel, then pull it out and there's more fuses behind that. Check all them too, but chances are, it's the dome fuse

How to pull this compartment ?

Hi,

Any idea how to pull this compartment out without accidentally breaking it: Details please, if you can. I could not find it in the 2004 corolla repair manual floating around in the internet.

pull it out half way, then pull up

Should unclip, and once you get it out, you can see how simple it is to put back.
