Changing Gear Box/Shifter Light for 2002 Corolla

Anyone know how to change the light blub that illuminates the P-R-D-N shift map on the gear box/shifter between the driver and passenger seats? I have a 2002 Corolla LE. I searched this Web site for such articles. Although I did find some articles for Corollas, apparently they did not pertain to the 2002 version.

Not sure if there is a how to article anywhere, but this is what I know:

1. Pry off the plastic ring surrounding the shifter.

2. Remove cigarette lighter and entire lower center console panel.

3. You will now see the shifter assembly. Remove 2 screws that holds it down.

4. Remove shifter assembly and look from underneath, and you should be able to see a bulb.
