2001 Corolla How many miles until I need my ??? Repaired

Hello,

I have a 2001 Corolla and I bought it with about 50k miles, and it now has 64k. I recently had the belt replaced in it and am curious about how many miles I should have the brakes, shocks, and spark plugs replaced at?

Thanks for any help!

change trans fluid at about 60k, inspect brakes and suspension.

see if you can get a 60k check list from the dealer perhaps?

Change coolant, trans fluid, and air filter if not done within 30k miles previously. Spark plugs will last 100k miles if theyre the ones that came with it from the dealer but can be changed sooner if mileage goes down. I would change brake fluid and power steering fluid if it hasnt been changed in the past 3yrs. Front brake pads may be near spent if they werent changed yet, rear drum pads should last until 100k miles at least. Struts should be fine, I wouldnt replace them until one goes bad, probably over 100k miles. Probably time for a new battery if not replaced in 4yrs. Oh and I would clean the MAF sensor too if it hasnt been cleaned in the past 30k miles.

Brakes and shocks are a wear item, just replace them as needed.

As for spark plugs, follow the manufacturers recommended interval.
