Replacing rear Deck 98 corolla

I have a 98 corolla VE, its did not come with stock speaker hole cut in the deck. Future shop mangled the deck and my 6 1/2's will barely screw in to it. they are in but the deck doesnt really seem strong enough to support speakers. Has anyone made i custom one? or fiberglassed a stock one to make it stiffer?

My old 96 SD also did not have any speakers in the back. I took the rear deck out and installed speakers in the deck, and I shared the exact same concern back then. I though about adding a layer of fiberglass to make the deck stronger.
In the end I didn't bother because the deck held the speakers just fine. If you start to see the deck sag or the speakers start to sag then think about reinforcing it, otherwise I think you should be fine.
