So My trunk was working before, but now i cant get in there.
the trunk key wont work, it use to, the key just turns one side to the other now,
cant open from inside, the lever no longer works, it actually never has hehe
I dont have the split seats...
can some one help me on getting in there, and getting it to work???
I'd say either a locksmith or removing the rear seats to access the trunk lock. I'll see about looking at my girlfriends trunk lock later unless someone else has any help.

i dont mind removing the seats, where are the bolts at? plus maybe i can redo the fabric and stuff while im at it, when i stick the key in it turns like 180 degrees both ways, im pretty sure the lock is messed up
Search for something like "replacing folding rear seats". I know there's a good tutorial with pics in that subject.

Did it have a previous owner? If so maybe they swapped out the split seat and who knows what else they wanted to go in a replacement CE corolla. If you've always had the car then thats definitely the first Ive ever heard of a non split seat in a LE.

I FINALLY Did it, I did have fold down seats but the only way to actually access then was through the trunk, and my trunk still wont open, so i took out the speakers and felt around til i found the latch. then pop and down came the seats. popped open the trunk with the emergency open thing, The sh*t I found back there. Found a whole bunch of clothes xbox 360 games, and a porno, Ebony assets... yeah... O and a sony Xlopd amp, 1200 watts, and the Stock cd player.
but the trunk release still wont work....gotta get that working again some how
but thanks guys so much for your help
especially Gil, thanks dude
I did suspect you may have had the split seats and just werent seeing the gap since that was so unheard of on a LE. I didnt want to come off like a arrogant douche knocker saying you were probably overlooking it though. lol
I knew you'd discover it when you were able to. Would have been funny to see your and the locksmith's reactions to the porn if he'd been the first to open it up. lol
Wait, I'm confused. You didn't know you had all that in the trunk? Did you forget about it? Or did you buy the car without ever looking in the trunk?
