does a 98-02 corolla a/c condensor fit into a 98-02 prizm? I know that the body is a bit different up front, but not sure about the support.

The A/C system on the Prizm is actually a GM Delco design, not the Toyota design that is used on the Corolla. The lines, compressor and condensor are completely different on the Corolla and Prizm.

I did bought the toyota corolla 99 A/C kit from Toyota dealer and made it fit on my Prizm 99. Although there are different, it is about 99% hardware wise, it will fit and about 85-90 % electric wise and that 10-15 % you have to modify the electric part bypassing the A/C Compressor Control Module and using a thermostatic control switch (I choose this option since I don't know what the A/C module is doing) and cut a wire in the A/C relay. But I wouldn't recommend to any beginner as in DIY.
