I don't think anyone has done this. I seen someone with the fin antenna but I doubt that it works because there was still the OEM antenna.

The roof mounted antenna is for optional sat radio only in the 10th gen. The regular radio antenna is in the rear glass.

I haven't seen a step-by-step DIY guide, but this has been done before. I think a few on TRDforums have already done this - might want to ping on there and see.

Just have to fill the slot left by the OEM antenna (little sheetmetal and some body filler) - move the antenna coaxial cable to the back (run it along the side, up under the rear sail panel) to the head liner. They make different external antennas - some have a built in amplifer.

Was planning to do this sometime soon, right after I get a replacement bumper cover and fix some dents (hail damage) on the car. Since I was planning to reshoot the whole car - just do all the bodywork at once.

Speaking of body work, does anyone know how to fix those tiny little round dents on a car? When I bought mine, it had a bunch on every door, and I hate looking at them. I don't want to put holes in my car either.

Depends on how deep the dents are and how long they been on the car. They make many differen PDR kits or Painteless Dent Repair kits. One is called the Ding King, there are a ton of others. Basically, you "glue" a puller bar to the center of the dent, then use a spreader bar to pull a dent out. Works for little dents where the metal did not crease, the fresher the dent, the better the results.

Some dents, you have to get behind the panel and pound them out - usually true for older dents or deep dents.

Well most of them are about the diameter of a 25 cent coin. There is a kinda big one on the back right quarter panel, but strangely, the little ones bother me more. I guess it's becuase they are more noticeable.

Should be able to pull those out with a PDR - but there is a good chance those little ones will be tough to pull. The cup used by the PDR is about the size of a quarter. Some of more comprehensive kits probably comes with different sized pins for smaller dents, though I've never seen one.

Alternative methods is a lot more involved, but will get out just about any dent. You grind off the paint, then use a special gun to weld pins onto the center of the dent. Then with a combination of a dent puller and dolleys/spoons/hammers - pull and flatten the dent. They you cut off the pin (grind them down), prep the metal, little glazing putty or filler primer - then reshoot the paint. If you go to that length, might as well reshoot the whole car - sort of what I'm doing with mine eventually.

I'll probably look into a PDR, if not, I'll wait until I repaint the whole thing. I don't think I could find the color my car is now anyway, so I couldn't just do a little spot here and there.
