Let's talk about wheels..

Yes, I saw the other recent posts about rims, but what do you guys think? I've got an '01 white corolla (with the little spoiler) with stock steelies and was thinkin about upgrading. 15's or 16's? What color? What do you guys think about white rims for a white car? Will 205/55/16's fit? I saw this ad on a local craigslist: for sale are 16" icw racing rims with almost new tires
rims are white alloy wheels
tire size is 205/55/R16
one rims is missing center piece
asking 390 o/b.
Do you think they will fit on my ride? I'm kinda thinkin white rims, 6-spoke, 16", 205/45/16's. What should the offset be, ideally (+40)? Here's what I'm looking at: , , and . The first ones white, second opal, and third ones black with machined faces. Opinions?

White looks tacky.
The spokes on the second one is too thin. It'll reveal your ugly drum brakes too much, unless you have disc.
Go for the 3rd one. Thicker spoke for a more powerful look.

Also don't go for black wheels. People think you're on steelies from a distance.

It depends on a combination of the width and offset of the wheel.

With that aspect ratio, I wouldn't be surprised if they rubbed.

Tire size should be 205/45/16 regardless.

The 3rd one, the Britelites, if you can find them in the silver machined. All I've found when I was looking for those wheels were the red, orange, and green.

I also believe the last wheel looks the best. My personal preference would be the 15" with a 205/50/15. Certainly would look better than stock while not being too expensive to replace tires later on, and possibly wheels too if bent.

3rd, for sure. I have no idea what the other stuff they're talking about... offset this and that, but the third is the better of the trio.
