I've saved his DIY pages somewhere on my home machine - I'll take a look later, but no guarantee that I'll find it.
Battery relocating is not too bad - sort of like wiring a big amp, but instead of the amp, you put the battery in its place. Just replace the hot wire with a longer cable - need to size the cable accordingly to the starter size. Too small of a cable and you'll drop too much voltage over the length of the cable. Ground to chassis ground, of it you prefer - run the ground from the original negative cable. Same thing, keep in mind power draw.
Depending on how you run the cable - might be looking at 20' of cable or so - the only wires that I'd use are 00, 0, 1, 2 gauge. OEM wire is a 4 gauge I believe. Might want to invest in distribution blocks. A positive and negative block will be used to tie the OEM cables to the new ones that you ran to the trunk. Also provides a place to tap into if you need or give a jump start. This way, you can go back to stock very quickly and easily - since you don't need to cut or remove any existing wiring in the car.
Least expensive way to do it is to get some studs like these,

for the OEM cables, mount them block that will insulate them from each other and from the car itself, crimp some ring terminals to the new cable, and bolt them to the stud. Lather everything up with dielectric grease or silicone to prevent moisture and corrosion - and your good to go. Hardest part is finding the small bits - try an audio shop, Crutchfield online, JEGS or Summit Racing, or similar.
Here is a quick writeup on an old site - Corolla-Racing for a battery relocation:

You should be able to find some really good links on Covette and GM F-Body (Camaro, Firebird) forums.
