LED mods....

Im looking into getting LED's to put into the air vents for a better look. My theme color is purple. I just ordered clear corner lenses, the purple corner bulbs, and a new dome assembly, into which i will put a UV black light LED. I have a few other ideas but i am trying to figure out how i would wire up the vent lights....... Any suggestions??

i basically did the same thing... my theme is white tho.
i put leds into the feet of the driver and passanger and under the seats. did the dome, dash. and i did an audi type thing under the headlights, and turn signals. with hids.

the wiring inside the car..... i just paralleled them to the dimmer. you'll probably have to take the dash apart, to feed the wire through. or find a hole to feed the wire through.
good luck.... if you want i'll try to get some pictures on here.

If you have the pics of the hook up it would help. I have a friend who would help me. He is more up on the car electronics. He said the Dimmer is a great idea. The Audi style lighting is an awesome look bro... mind if i steal?? i would love the look. Especially if i color coded it purple to match the rest. thanks...

I've done my tach/dash in blue and it was very difficult to see at night. I currently have green LED bulbs on my dash and LED white dome light. I am currently waiting for my other LED for my license plate lights and a brighter dome light. I was trying to remove the bulbs from my rearview/map lights but I cant seem to get the bulb out. Does anyone have any idea what tool to use to remove the bulb?

i got all the leds on ebay.... the concole i just got 194 led bulbs
for under the seats and in front i paralleled a few of these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/White-120cm-120-LED-Bulb-Flexible-Strip-Line-Car-Light_W0QQitemZ160339857778QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMoto rs_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item2555001172 &_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=65:12|39:1|72:117 1#ht_2001wt_1197
and wire them to the dimmer. for the dimmer, there are three wires... just poke around... 2 of them will keep them constantly on.

Angel Eyes

I found this to make the lights more 'Angel Eyes' with the LED-style ring on the INSIDE of the lamp housing.

http://www.toyotacorollamodifications.com/angeleyes.htm

Was planning on trying this at some point, but haven't had a chance to as of yet...

Hey, it's cheap enough and looks to be like a good idea.
