I've seen MOMO steering wheels with adapter hubs for the Corolla, but they don't seem to be as easy to find anymore. Maybe I just don't know where to look.

Guys have been able to swap the 7th gen Celica black 3-spoke steering wheels over to their Corollas - the later 8th gen S trim levels had the black, 3-spoke steering wheels (looks like the Celica, just vinyl instead of leather and has red stitching). Sounds like the steering wheel itself is not the issue, getting everything apart and wired up correctly without firing the airbag off is the hard part - which in itself is not too bad if take your time and disconnect power for a few minutes before you touch anything.

Pull the two cover plugs on the sides - exposes two Torx screws - loosen them until they touch the screw case, airgab pops out - disconnect and set the airbag up (airbag side point up) - make the steering nut and threaded shaft to help you reset the wheel later - loosen the nut and pull the steering wheel off the shaft.
