Have you already done a "
big 3" upgrade?

Definition: the "Big Three" upgrade means improving the current capacity of three cables: 1) alternator positive to battery positive, 2) battery negative to chassis, and 3) engine ground to chassis. Some people replace the factory wiring; others add additional cables to the factory wiring.

I had to take out the battery today for an unrelated project and noticed that the negative/ground to the chassis seems to be
under the air intake? Really? So
that has to be removed just to get to that bolt? How difficult is that?
Also, how accessible is the rest of the "big 3" wiring?
(Looking to install 0 gauge high-strand copper instead. The OEM factory wiring is 4 gauge, I think.)
p.s. Any recommendations on a
durable high output alternator that will actually fit with the intake manifold?
