Dashboard Light Replacement on 1999 Toyota Corolla

Hello,

I've just acquired a 1999 Corolla and have found that 2/3 of the dashboard remains dark when the lights come on. Can anyone help me with information on how to access the back of the gauge cluster and what kind of bulbs I'll need to replace them?

Buy two 194 bulbs.

Then remove two screws from top of the black bezel around gauge and pull that out. Then remove three screws for the cluster itself. Turn it over and you'll find three big bulb holders. These are where you put the 194 in. Twist left then pull to remove. Transfer the green caps over to your new bulbs as well.

And on your other problem with missing washer fluid tank cap, dealer or junkyard is your best bet. Once you have that, it just clips on. Check that the filter screen is there too.

Uh, I drive a 99 and the 2 main gauges (speedo + temp/fuel or tach) are using 3 194 bulbs. 74 is for all the other lights (CEL, brake, etc)
