Where is the connection for connecting a fuel pressure gauge?
I just started helping a friend with his 02 Corolla S. He has been having problems with it stumbling a great deal when cold, and not being able to accept full throttle even after being warmed up.
I have run a datalog using Autotap, and my wideband LM-1. All data indicate a severe lean condition. I would like to connect my fuel pressure gauge to check the system fuel pressure, but neither he nor I have been able to find the connector. Where is it located, and what type of connection is it?

Have to put in a T yourself - disconnect the fuel line by the firewall, install a SST T-connector that has a schrader valve on the top. The fuel system is a returnless design, as such, there isn't a convienient valve to hook onto.
Did you try checking for vacuum leaks first? Cleaning the MAF sensor? Those tend to give lean conditions on a 1ZZ-FE - atleast gives you something to look at while you find a T for the fuel line.
Thanks for the response. The book said connect to the "fuel pressure test port" but we were unable to find any such port. SST stands for what? Stainless Steel T, perhaps?
He has been through everything else, not only cleaning the MAF, but actually replacing it with a known good MAF as a test. TB & IAC cleaned, new gaskets, no exhaust leaks, new air filter, new cat, plugs, etc.
I monitored his O2 sensors, both were pretty much dead, so he has ordered a new front one, since it is the one the PCM uses in its fueling calculations. He sent his injectors out to be rebuilt, since the vehicle has 200k miles on it and I found him a good place to have it done.
I just suspect that there are multiple layers to this onion and I want to make sure I cover all the bases for him. I am no stranger to tuning and I have the tools, but this is my first Toyota.

Gotcha - just diagnosing as much stuff as you can.
For the fuel SST, easiest it is ping on the dealership - to see if they will even let you buy one (if you are on good terms with the dealership - they could let you borrow one overnight).
This is also something you can cobble together yourself - depending on what you have available to you. Essentially, you are disconnecting a fuel line and placing a T with a valve in between. The hardest part is getting a good connection between the T and the fitting you just pulled apart. This is where the SST comes in. You could fab up something that could work (ie, find the mating connectors to the fitting you just pulled apart).
Yes, I am trying to help my friend, who has been in parts replacement mode up to now. The more data I can collect, the more accurate picture I will be able to draw.
He clearly has a fueling problem. Both his Short Term and Long Term Fuel Trims were way positive, indicating that the PCM is trying to add more fuel. But an AFR of 20 at near full throttle with those trims was scary to see.
Since the pump plays such a critical role in the fueling, I would like to see if he is meeting spec or if the pump is also faulty, which would contribute to the lean condition.
He is very creative, and I have told him what he needs to do to get us a schrader valve connection.
